It has been confirmed that Maruti Swift Dzire CS will officially be launched on 1st February 2012 and this next generation version of the popular sedan is coming equipped with over 150 new features which are making it great in its category. Apart from this, it has also been confirmed that Maruti Swift Dzire CS models are two. Just like full size sedan, the new compact sedan will also be offered in both petrol and diesel models. And the new Maruti Swift Dzire CS price for all the variants of petrol and diesel models is expected between Rs. 4.95 lakh to Rs. 7.30 lakh at ex-showroom Delhi.

The new Maruti Swift Dzire CS petrol model has the three variants. It's top-end variant is expected to be available with a four speed automatic transmission which is really surprise for this car enthusiasts. It will come equipped with a re-freshed K series, 1.2 litre, 1197 cc petrol powertrain which belts out maximum power of 86 bhp at 6000 rpm and belts out massive torque of 114 Nm at 4000 rpm. This Fiat made diesel engine generates maximum power of almost 74 bhp at 4000 rpm and churns out peak torque of almost 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. The engine it mated with a 5 speed manual transmission system and the new Maruti Swift Dzire Cs mileage for diesel model is 23.4 kmpl as per ARAI norms.
